Jo Koy has become one of the world's most successful stand-up comedians, rising from performing in a Las Vegas coffeehouse to selling out arenas across the globe. Drawing inspiration from his family, upbringing, and Filipino heritage, Koy has built a loyal international following and has consistently ranked among Pollstar and Billboard's top-grossing stand-up comedians.
Koy continues to expand his partnership with Netflix through a multi-special deal. His latest special, "Jo Koy: Live From Brooklyn," premiered in 2024 after being filmed at Brooklyn's historic King's Theatre and ranked among the platform's most-watched comedy specials of the year, and his next special will be out later this fall. His previous specials include "Live From The Los Angeles Forum," "Comin' In Hot," "Live From Seattle," and "Jo Koy: In His Elements," which celebrates Filipino American culture.
Beyond stand-up, Koy starred in the Universal Pictures comedy "Easter Sunday," inspired by his life and Filipino roots. His additional film and television credits include "Haunted Mansion," "The Monkey King," "Leo," "The Tiger's Apprentice," "Mr. Iglesias," and "Awkwafina Is Nora from Queens." He’ll next been heard voicing Datu in the upcoming Dreamworks Animation film, “Forgotten Island” in theaters September 25, 2026.
