ZZ TOP TO BRING CLASSIC ROCK PERFORMANCE TO FIREKEEPERS CASINO EVENT CENTER ON AUGUST 28

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (April 9, 2025) FireKeepers Casino Hotel is excited to welcome back rock legends ZZ Top to the FireKeepers Casino Event Center on Friday, August 28 at 8 p.m., with doors opening at 7 p.m. Tickets go on sale Saturday, April 25 at 10 a.m. and will be available online at FireKeepersCasino.com or in person at the FireKeepers Casino Box Office near the hotel lobby, with prices starting at $99 plus fees.

With more than five decades of music behind them, ZZ Top has built one of rock’s most recognizable careers through a signature blend of blues-driven rock, sharp songwriting, and unmistakable style. Formed in Texas in 1969, the band rose from regional clubs to international fame with a sound rooted in the blues and defined by tight musicianship and swagger.

Their breakthrough came in the 1970s with acclaimed albums Tres Hombres and Fandango!, featuring early hits like “La Grange” and “Tush,” songs that remain staples of classic rock radio today.

In the 1980s, ZZ Top reached massive commercial success with Eliminator, which produced iconic hits including “Gimme All Your Lovin’,” “Sharp Dressed Man,” and “Legs.” The album’s heavy MTV rotation helped introduce the band to a new generation of fans. Follow-up Afterburner continued that momentum, blending blues roots with modern rock production.

Today, the band features longtime members Billy Gibbons and Frank Beard, along with Elwood Francis, who joined in recent years. Together, they continue to tour worldwide, delivering the high-energy performances and signature sound that have defined ZZ Top for more than 50 years.

Known for their longevity and unmistakable image, ZZ Top remains one of rock’s most enduring live acts.

“We’re thrilled to welcome ZZ Top back to FireKeepers. They always deliver an electrifying show, and it’s exciting to bring their iconic sound and energy to our guests in an intimate setting,” said Jim Wise, Vice President of Marketing at FireKeepers Casino Hotel.
