Thompson Square to Perform at FireKeepers

(Battle Creek, MI.) July 9, 2015- FireKeepers Casino Hotel announces the performance of country duo Thompson Square on September 26 at 9pm. Tickets go on sale July 11, with a pre-sale for all Red Hot Rewards Club Members on July 9.

Country music stars Keifer and Shawna Thompson are the driving force behind Thompson Square, who have topped the radio charts across the world with three number one hits and five top fifteen hits.   The chart-topping hits include, “Are you Gonna Kiss Me or Not”, released in 2011, “If I Didn’t have You”, and, “Everything I Shouldn’t Be Thinking About”, released 2013.

This married duo was honored as  “Vocal Duo of the Year” in both 2012, and 2013 by the Academy of Country Music (ACM) and in 2012 by the Country Music Association (CMA).

“Thompson Square delivers a contemporary country sound that crosses over into multiple audiences,” said Jim Wise, Vice President of Marketing at FireKeepers Casino Hotel. “This is a band that continues to rise in popularity and we anticipate this will be a fantastic night of Thompson Square hits, plus new music from their upcoming release.”   

After completing their headlining “Just Feels Good” Tour in 2014, Keifer and Shawna began working on their third album with producer Dan Huff and Stoney Creek Records. The first single, “Trans Am” was released in April and the album is due out later this year.
