Start a “Love Train” with the O’Jays and Party with Gary Allan this fall at FireKeepers
(Battle Creek, MI.) July 22, 2016 – FireKeepers Casino Hotel is excited to welcome two exciting acts coming to the FireKeepers Event Center this fall. On Saturday, September 2, the R&B classic band, The O’Jays will be performing at 9 p.m. Then on Saturday, October 15, country singer Gary Allan will be performing at FireKeepers at 9 p.m. Tickets for both shows will go on sale on Saturday July 23 at 10 a.m.

The O’Jays were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005 and are still hitting the same road they have been electrifying for over 50 years. The band’s leading front men, Walter Williams and Eddie Levert, met when they were just 6 and 7 years old. Eric Nolan Grant later joined the group in 1995. This dynamic group started out in 1972 Philadelphia and has commonly been referred to as the Sound of Philadelphia. The O’Jays have performed classic pop and R&B songs such as “Backstabbers”, “Put Your Hands Together”, “ For the Love of Money”, “ I love Music”, “Darlin’ Darlin’ Baby (Sweet, Tender, Love), “ Livin’ For the Weekend”, and perhaps their most famous song “ Love Train”.
Country star, Garry Allan, has been preforming his “raspy” country songs for fans around the country for 20 years. He has many number one hit songs including, “Man to Man”, “Tough Little Boys”, “Nothing On but the Radio”, and “Every Storm (Runs Out of Rain)”, as well as other hit songs such as, “Best I Ever Had”, “Watching Airplanes”, and “Life Ain’t Always Beautiful”. Allan has released 9 studio albums in his career so far with his tenth coming out very soon.
