FireKeepers Casino Hotel Gives Away Nearly $1 Million to Two Jackson Residents
(Battle Creek, Mich.) – FireKeepers Casino Hotel in Battle Creek, Mich., owned and operated by the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi, recently announced that two Jackson area Red Hot Rewards Club members took home large jackpots this past weekend.
Everett Pendergrass III, a 42-year-old Jackson resident, who operates his own construction company, was playing Lord of the Rings next to his best friend this past Friday and almost didn’t realize when the machine hit the progressive jackpot for $905,879. Pendergrass plans on buying a lot of bonds with the money, but has no plans to stop working. He does, however, hope to reach out and financially assist some battered women shelters.
Another Jackson winner was struck by Red Lightning for $40,894. When Red Lightning strikes every guest playing a slot machine with their Red Hot Rewards Club card receives $15 in Red Hot Credits, and all Red Hot Rewards Club members receive half price buffets for two hours at Michigan’s best buffet, Mijem. Take caution, because Red Lightning Jackpots can strike on any machine at any time, and are guaranteed to hit by $50,000, $100,000, and $150,000.
