FireKeepers Casino Hotel celebrates the New Year with Matt Giraud

(Battle Creek, Mich.) – FireKeepers Casino Hotel, owned and operated by the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi, is proud to announce that Matt Giraud will be featured as part of an intimate event at FireKeepers Casino Hotel Event Center on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 as part of the New Year’s Eve Celebration.


Giraud is a Kalamazoo native who’s talent led him to gain fame on American Idol in the show’s eighth season. He finished in the top five, and has become well renowned for his vocal abilities and songwriting. The event will also feature hors d’oeuvres, a balloon drop, and a live DJ with dancing after Giraud’s dueling piano performance.


Alongside the celebration will be a fantastic gift giveaway from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Guests will receive a free pair of 2015 sunglasses by stopping at the Red Hot Rewards Club booth located in the Bus Lobby. With those sunglasses, guests can purchase canned beers at Kabaret and Dacey’s Sports Bar for a special price. The festivities will continue into New Year’s Day with a $75,000 Cash Giveaway from 2:15 p.m.-10:15 p.m. Guests playing with their Red Hot Rewards Club card will have a chance to win $15,000 in cash every two hours.


General Admission Tickets for Matt Giraud will go on sale for guests 21 years of age and older at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 22. Ticket prices for the performance of Matt Giraud will be $50. Purchases can be made online at FireKeepersCasinoHotel.com or Startickets.com. To avoid service charges, purchases can be made at the Box Office, located inside FireKeepers Casino Hotel lobby.
