FireKeepers Casino Hotel announces property expansion and the re-opening of Cafe 24/7
(Battle Creek, MI.) April 4, 2016 –FireKeepers Casino Hotel is excited to announce a pair of new expansions to the property, plus the re-opening of Cafe 24/7, a popular restaurant with all guests.
FireKeepers Casino Hotel announced today they will be expanding the property, to introduce with a convenience store and gas station located adjacent to the casino. The convenience store and gas station, named “FireKeepers Pit Stop”, will feature a car wash, a convenience store with various food and beverage items, as well as a place to fill up your gas tank while visiting FireKeepers. The new expansion will allow FireKeepers Red Hot Rewards members the ability to redeem loyalty reward points for fuel while also giving them access to future offers.
“Because we draw visitors from across the region, providing our guests with the opportunity to convert loyalty rewards into fuel discounts further enhances our commitment to the members of our Red Hot Rewards club”, stated Brian D. Decorah, CEO and President of FireKeepers Casino Hotel. “This operation will add 12-14 new jobs and the design of the project will match the upscale feel of our hotel and casino.”
“We carefully master plan the land for this great resort and seek to be proactive leaders in design and development,” stated Jamie Stuck, Tribal Council Vice Chairman of the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi. “Design work is complete and construction equipment will be onsite and active later this month.”
In addition to the new expansion, FireKeepers is excited to announce the completion of a transformation of its Cafe 24/7 restaurant. The new design was developed by Kalamazoo architects, Seven Generations Architecture and Engineering and construction was directed by Moore Trosper Construction of Holt, Michigan. The refreshed atmosphere combines an old-school diner feel with new modern features such as contemporary lighting, stylish graphics, and even a chalkboard wall to write specials. The Cafe 24/7 menu will feature new, fresh items, as well as some of the classic favorites like the All American Burger, Hot Turkey Sandwich and Chicken Pot Pie.
The re-opening of Cafe 24/7 follows recently announced dining awards in the “Best Of Dining” category from Casino Player Magazine. These include, “Best Overall Dinning”, “Best Seafood”, “Best Steakhouse”, “Best Happy Hour”, “Best Buffet” and “Best Deli”. Cafe 24/7 is sure to live up to the awards with their new plates and FireKeepers looks forward to obtaining more Dining Best’s.

Always looking ahead, FireKeepers officials are also pleased to announce that, in the coming months, Dacey’s Sports Bar will be demolished and plans are in progress for a new, vibrant and contemporary bar in an adjacent location.
