Chicago to Perform at FireKeepers Casino Hotel
(Battle Creek, Mich.) – FireKeepers Casino Hotel in Battle Creek, Mich., owned and operated by the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi, proudly announced today that Chicago will be featured in an intimate performance for 2,000 fans at the FireKeepers Casino Hotel Event Center on Saturday, May 3, 2014.
The Grammy award-winning band will be performing newly recorded material and chart-topping hits such as “You’re the Inspiration” and “Hard to Say I’m Sorry.”
Chicago’s lifetime achievements include a Grammy Award, multiple American Music Awards, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The band has record sales topping the 100 million mark and includes 21 top 10 singles, five consecutive number one albums, 11 number one singles and five gold singles. An incredible 25 of their 34 albums have been certified platinum, and 47 received gold and platinum awards.
The line-up includes original band members Robert Lamm on keyboards and vocals, Lee Loughnane on trumpet, James Pankow on trombone and Walt Parazaider on woodwinds, as well as Jason Scheff on bass and vocals, Tris Imboden on drums, Keith Howland on guitar, Lou Pardini on keyboards and vocals and Wally Reyes on percussion.
From the signature sound of the Chicago horns, their iconic vocalists, and a few dozen of ever-classic songs, this band’s concerts are celebrations. The band is now in their 46th consecutive year of touring, without missing a date.
