Buddy Guy to Perform at FireKeepers Casino Hotel
(Battle Creek, Mich.) – FireKeepers Casino Hotel in Battle Creek, Mich., owned and operated by the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi, proudly announced today that Buddy Guy will be featured in an intimate performance for 2,000 fans at FireKeepers Casino Hotel Event Center, with special guest Quinn Sullivan opening for the band, on Saturday, June 14, 2014.
Going on to influence such artists as Eric Clapton and Jimi Hendrix, Buddy Guy has been renowned as a world class guitarist and singer. A native of Louisiana, Guy moved to Chicago in 1957, and was instantly heralded as a bridge between the blues and rock ‘n’ roll, as well as a pioneer in energetic and inventive guitar performance techniques. Guy has won Billboard Magazine’s Century Award, the National Medal of Arts, and six Grammy Awards. In 2005, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Tickets go on sale Saturday, March 22 at 10 a.m. for guests 21 years of age and older. Ticket prices for this reserved seating event will start at $30.
